Kat is exactly what her name implies, an innocent, dark beauty. She is taller than the average woman, being 6'0", but that does not take away from her good looks. In fact, it adds to them, because her legs are so very long. Kat is well formed and very slender. She has luscious curves in all the right places and tends to draw attention from the male population no matter where she goes. Kat's chest is very proportionate to her body, which means her breasts are perfect without being too small or too large for her frame.

Kat has long , jet-black hair that is as dark as the deepest recesses of black holes. It falls to her hips in soft curls, which she always wears loose. Her bangs are somewhat wild looking and fall to her eyes giving her a mysterious, seductive look. Her eyes are a dark purplish color that add even more seductive and mysterious appeal to her looks. When Kat is angry, her eyes seem to flash with a strange purple fire, although if she were ever in a fit of passion her eyes probably would flash with the same fire. She has long, thick, dark lashes that only serve to make her even more into a dark, seductive beauty. Just like most of the residents on Fšrsilvra, Kat has a beautiful tan year around. She keeps herself physically fit by joining her fiancŽ occasionally on his jogs around the entire dome.

Kat generally wears a black skirt that reaches about 6 inches below her knees and a lavender silk blouse. She also wears a dark purple belt that has a buckle made of Lacerta. (Borrowed from Aloris's profile: Lacerta is a metal indigenous to Åtrå and it puts silver to shame in a contest of brightness.) She usually can be found wearing her favorite dark purple cloak that is made of velvet, reaches the floor, and has a hood. She loves this cloak because it belonged to her great-grandmother. She also always wears a pendant that has been handed down throughout her family as well. The pendant is a small gold crystal that seems to glow with an inner light. The crystal is on a fine chain made of Lacerta.

When Kat joins her fiancŽ on his jogs around the dome or she doesn't feel like dressing up, she tends to wear a hip hugging pair of dark purple shorts and a white cotton blouse with beautiful purple flowers printed on the front of it. When she is jogging, Kat does not wear her cloak , although she does still wear her pendant.

Another thing that Kat is hardly ever found without is her gun holster, which is purple and holds a small purple gun that Alrik gave to her sometime during their courtship. This gun is a standard issued one with the same S, LT, and K settings as the other laser guns. The only difference that it has is that it is purple instead of the ordinary colors.

Personality:

Kat knows that she is a lovely and seductive young woman and her favorite motto is "I'm a lovely, helpless-looking, young woman that is always ready to kick my opponents' arses so hard they'll kiss the moons of Timma!"

Kat is essentially a girl that loves life; she never hesitates to experience it in anyway. She has always been known as the party girl, or the life of the party. She has always found it easy to make friends, whether or not they are true friends does not really matter to her. She simply likes to be the center of attention. Kat likes to have things go her way and if they do not then she sometimes can act bitchy. If this does not get her what she wants, Kat has been known to sulk like a little girl.

Kat has also always found it easy to find a boyfriend. Before she met Alrik, Kat could always be seen with one guy or another. She did not really loved any of her dates; most of them were simply random crushes, while others were simply relationships she had to ward off loneliness.

Although some people might have thought Kat was loose, she actually held her body in great esteem. Her own personal morals prevented her from allowing any relationship to go much past making out. She had always wanted to save that last step for the guy that she married, or at least hold out for that one special guy that she really loved.

Unfortunately, Kat possesses a very big streak of vanity. She believes that she is beautiful and always has to look her best. Every hair on her head must be in place at all times and if she were to ever break a nail, she would probably react as if her very life had ended.

Although at times Kat can act like a spoiled brat, she actually is a nice person. Once she actually befriends someone, she will fight to make certain that no one hurts them in anyway. She also has always been a good judge of character, although like everybody else she has been wrong before. She also really loves her family and will do anything to keep them safe, especially her great-grandmother and her little sister.

Kat has a lot of friends, although many of them are more like companions to hang out with then true friends. She loves to hang out with people that aren't afraid to have fun. She isn't particularly fond of the quiet and shy people that are content to simply read a book or hide away from crowds of people. She is full of life and loves to have fun, therefore she tends to look for other people who share her love of life to hang out with.

The Past:

Kathryn was the first-born child to Korbin and Trisha Ebony. She has one younger sister named Terese Averell Ebony. Kat loves her family very much, especially her 'baby sister'. Although the girls fight a lot about most everything, they still have their sisterly moments.

From the time she was born, Kat had always been treated as if she were the most important person in the family's life. She was always given everything she ever wanted and often allowed to do whatever she wanted. There were times when she broke some sort of rule that her parents had set down, and she would easily get out of being punished by pouting. She had her father wrapped around her little finger. She could easily get him to do whatever she wanted him to do and she was very aware of it.

When she was only five years old, her father was about to go on a business trip that involved visiting all of the other habitable planets in the system. Kat really wanted to go with her father, however, both of her parents thought she was too young for such a big trip. Kat instantly begin to pout and refused to talk to her parents. She also refused to do much of anything, simply staying in her bed and only eating enough to make her stomach not grumble. Before the day was even half over, her father had caved in and talked her mother into allowing Kat to go with him.

At first the trip was only another adventure to undertake, as well as means to get her own way. However, once she was actually visiting the other planets Kat had the time of her life. She was able to meet many interesting people and see many exciting places. From then on, whenever her father went on a business trip Kat would insist on going along.

Another person in her life that Kat was very close to was her great-grandmother. Kat adored her great-grandmother so much that if the older woman had asked Kat to give up everything she loved, the little girl would probably do it. Granny Lia, which was the name that Kat gave her beloved grandmother, loved the little girl as well. After Kat had given her the name Lia, Kamelia would never let anyone except for Kat call her that, everyone else was forced to call her by Kamelia. She would do anything to bring a smile to Kat's face, including spoiling her even more then Kat's father did.

When Kat was ten years old, she tried out for a play that her class was doing. When she was not chosen for the lead part, Kat ran home and curled herself on her bed sobbing pitifully. It was not long before both Kat's father and her great-grandmother visited the head master. They did everything possible to get Kat the lead in the play, including donating a large amount of money to the school. The head master ordered the teacher to give Kat whatever she wanted and so of course, she was allowed to be the lead in the play.

There were many other circumstances like that one that taught Kat that whenever she wanted something, she would of course get it. She never had to want something for very long, because no matter where she went people would cater to her wishes. She wasn't completely blind to the fact that a lot of people did what she wanted because she was not only pretty, she was rich as well, not to mention people didn't want to anger her father.

On Kat's 14th birthday, her parents enrolled her into military school so that she could become a great leader, learn the art of combat, and strategy. Almost from the very beginning Kat showed great talent at fighting. By the time she was 18, Kat graduated at the head of her class. She then started to work her way up in her military career. Although most people would generally start at the bottom of the ladder, because of Kat's natural talent, as well as her father's influence, Kat started her career as a captain of her own squad of ground troops.

On Kat's 16th birthday, her great-grandmother gave her the pendant that she had always wanted. Her Granny Lia had always worn the pendant and had spoken of how special it was. From the time Kat had first seen it, she had wanted it. However, her Great-Grandmother would not give this one thing to her, until her 16th birthday.

On the day that she received it, Kat felt an amazing source of power within the small stone. She immediately placed it around her neck and from then on never took it off. Whenever Kat feels nervous about something, she tends to rub the pendant gently between her fingers. This act somehow gives Kat the strength to carry on with whatever she needs to do at the time.

The day that Granny Lia died, Kat felt devastated. It seemed as if her very world had fallen apart and as if nothing would ever be the same. For three months, Kat refused to come out of her room. She had fallen into a deep depression that no matter how hard everyone tried, they could not draw her out of it.

Her sister, Terese, finally managed to pull Kat out of her depression by telling her that Granny Lia would be very disappointed. After all, Granny Lia had always admired Kat's love of life and then energy that she lived it with.

Kat begin to socialize again and it was not very long afterward that Alrik began to court her. When her parents first told her that she was going to marry this stranger, Kat did everything possible to change her parents' minds. After all, she wanted to find someone that she loved with all her heart. That had always been her dream and Granny Lia had told her often enough that true love was a special emotion. However, it seemed that nothing Kat could do would change her parents' minds.

She was forced to meet Alrik, although she intended to hate him with a passion. Things did not work out that way; almost from the first moment that she saw Alrik she had fallen in love with him. Alrik makes her feel special in many ways, including the fact that he always places her feelings first. However, that is not the only reason she loves him. Alrik has a way of making her feel safe in ways that no one has ever made her feel before.

Kat could not wait for their wedding to take place, after all Alrik was everything she had ever dreamed about. However, things were not going to be that easy. Trouble arrived in the form of an unidentified starship, in March of 6007, nine months before their planned wedding.

The Present:

At this moment, Kat is dreading the arrival of the mysterious ship that Alrik has told her about. She has a dreadful feeling that this ship will cause all of them very severe hardships and pain.

She spends her time either being with Alrik and talking/fighting with her sister.

The Future:

Kat plans on marrying her fiancŽ, Alrik, and continuing to live on Fšrsilvra. She cannot wait until she is able to say her vows to her one true love Alrik. She is content to be the wife of Alrik and keep the perfect home for him. Although she really wants to be married to Alrik, she can't help feeling excitement for the upcoming war.

Location:

Kathryn lives on Fšrsilvra. The following description is taken from the current history page and Silver's profile:

All the engineers and anybody that could be used as a construction worker were immediately employed to create a huge globe to orbit around the Silver star. They took a simple stance and started to build a large reinforced titanium and glass globe, as large as a small planet, around the huge transport ship that had originally brought them to this system. The engineers quickly put the floating planet into orbit around the Silver star using the thrusters of the transport ship and named it Fšrsilvra.

Fšrsilvra had been built with all the amenities that an actual planet had. Small trees were imported and trimmed to grow nicely and perfectly, also producing fruit. Perfectly manicured lawns covered the tops of the globe, while underneath the chemical reactors were constantly harvesting and creating energy. Fšrsilvra was a self-contained biosphere.

Even though it was extremely close to the Silver star, the heat was dispersed throughout the globe by huge circulation fans. Therefore, there is always wind in the huge dome. Another engineering genius was the tinting of the glass around the entire dome, creating a huge reflection of the Silver star. This also effectively blocked over half the heat that would otherwise penetrate into the glass dome. The engineers created the biosphere to be an area of perfection, a utopia on the verge of a new kind of creation. Small birds and other pleasant animals had been placed there as well. Most were pets leftover from the colonists themselves, like parrots and butterflies.

Fšrsilvra quickly became the headquarters of the entire system. Built as the main harvester and replace of the chemical gas on Silver star, the head political people also settled on it. There was plenty of room, actually. The original transport ship was huge, and the engineers had left nothing out in creating the dome. They created hatches that extended and allowed even the largest of starships to dock safely, connecting securely to the biosphere. These hatches were large enough for people to walk straight through. Also, since the engineers put Fšrsilvra into orbit around Silver star, they also caused it to turn on its own axis, effectively creating a normal gravitational spin. This kept everybody's feet planted on the ground.

Transformation:

To henshin, Kat bows her head and closes her eyes before clasping both her hands around her pendant. She then whispers, "Golden Power, please help me protect the ones I love ..." A golden light emits from the crystal surrounding Kathryn in a kind of globe of light. The light becomes so bright that it effectively blocks anyone's view from what is going on inside. Once the light dies away, Dea Aureo is kneeling there in a praying position with her cloak and skirt puddled around her.

Warrior Form:

Dea Aureo wears a short-sleeved dress of purest white with a full flowing skirt that falls to her ankles. There is a second layer of transparent, golden chiffon over her skirt that includes long sleeves that reach her wrists. She also has a golden cloak with hood that has a golden star clasping it at her throat. The cloak is large enough that she can hide all of her features within it. Her shoes are made of a delicate golden silk material and are no more then slippers. Her eyes change considerably from their normal dark purple color, turning into a stormy ocean blue color. Underneath her cloak, Dea Aureo also has a gun holster, which is gold and holds a small golden gun. This gun is a standard issued one with the same S, LT, and K settings as the other laser guns. The only difference that it has is that it is golden instead of the ordinary colors.

Attacks:

Deo Aureo has her two laser guns to fight with. She is an expert shot, hardly ever missing what she sets out to hit. She also is handy when it comes to hand to hand combat. When she is forced to fight hand to hand, she exchanges strength and size for agility and speed.

Weaknesses/Strengths:

Kat's weakness is her vanity. She hates when she does not look her best and can often get quite upset when something is wrong with her appearance. If she were fighting a battle and happened to sustain some kind of damage to her appearance or her outfit, then she might stop fighting and have a bit of a temper tantrum instead.

She also has problems with not being the center of attention. For her entire life, Kat has always been the center of attention and she gets a little bitchy when things do not go her way. If being bitchy does not get her what she wants, Kat has been known to sulk.

Kat's strengths are her agility and speed, her relationship with Alrik, and her position among her peers.

Kat owns a pendant that was handed down through her family. This pendant was always given to the oldest child on their 16th birthday. From the day that she was given it, Kat has never taken it off. The pendant is a small gold crystal that seems to glow with an inner light. The crystal is on a fine chain made of Lacerta. This is her henshin device, as well as the stone that makes her family the ruler of the Gold star.

Writing Sample:

Kat stared at her parents in horror as their words finally registered in her shocked mind. She was engaged to someone she did not even know. She had always believed that she would marry for love, after all Granny Lia had told her such wonderful things about being truly in love.

She finally turned her gaze to her father and whispered, "Papa, you can't mean that. Granny Lia told me that someday I would fall in love and marry someone. She never mentioned that I would be forced to marry a stranger! Please Papa make Mama take it back! Make her say that it is not true; I do not want to marry someone I do not even know."

Korbin glanced away from his daughter uncomfortably. He had never been able to resist his oldest daughter's wishes and had always strived to make her happy. However, he and his wife had already arranged the marriage with Andora Sterlyn. It was a necessary arrangement, considering it would strengthen the alliance between the gold and silver families. Another deciding factor in this marriage was that Korbin knew that Alrik would treat his daughter right and keep her safe. He had seen the young man work and felt proud that his daughter would be marrying the young leader of the Solar Military.

Trisha glanced at her husband for a moment before sighing in frustration. Her husband had always been too lenient with their eldest daughter. She quickly turned to her daughter and sternly said, "Kathryn Ebony, stop this silly nonsense! You should have known that your father and I would arrange for you to marry someone that we chose. It is for the best and it guarantees a strong alliance between the Sterlyn family and us. Your Great-Grandmother Kamelia filled your head with a lot of nonsense and your father allowed it. It is time that you grow up young lady and do as your told. You are nineteen years old; therefore, you should be old enough to realize that an arranged marriage would benefit everyone. Besides, you could do far worse then Alrik Sterlyn. He is the leader of the Solar Military and quite respected. He will treat you right and you will marry him Kathryn. The arrangements have already been made and there is nothing that you can do to change them." Trisha glared at her daughter for a moment longer before leaving the room, clearly deciding that the matter had been resolved.

Kathryn stared after her mother for a moment before turning back to her father, tears already beginning to fill her eyes. 3Papa,2 she cried, "don't make me marry him. I don't want to! I won't like him, I know it!"

Korbin sighed miserably before turning to his daughter and gently saying, "Kitten, I know it's hard, but you have to understand. This is for the best. I know that you are unhappy and I wish I did not have to force this on you. However, Alrik will take good care of you Kitten and you will grow to accept this. Your mother and I only want what is best for you. Please try to understand."

Kathryn shook her head and snapped, "I will not try to understand father! I absolutely refuse to marry him." She started to storm out of the room, when her father caught her arm and forced her to look up at him.

For the first time in Kathryn's life her father glared angrily down at her and ordered, "Kathryn your mother is right, I have been very lenient with you. I have let you get away with many things that I probably should not have. I have spoiled you terribly; however I will not let you dishonor this family. You will meet Alrik and you will marry him. It does not matter if you love him or not, although that will make things easier on yourself. You will marry him and you will do it with a smile on your face."

Kat stared up at her father for a long moment before nodding in agreement. She would do as her father wished; after all, she did not like her father angry with her. However, she would never love him. In fact, Kat promised herself that she would hate him.

Two months later, Kathryn giggled to herself as she remembered that fateful afternoon. How silly she had been, she could not begin to imagine herself hating Alrik. In fact, she could not even imagine not liking her fiancŽ. She smiled at her reflection in the mirror as she finished the last touches to her appearance. She wanted to look her best, after all, she was about to go and spend time with the man that she loved with all her heart.

She glanced at the time before making her way out to the living room. She smiled happily when she saw Alrik sitting there waiting for her.
