Appearance: Garret is tall, standing a 6'1". His body is really slim and although he is in shape, he doesn't have the muscley look. Garret has the pale complexion that a lot of English people have and he doesn't tan very well. He has short, dark brown hair that he keeps immaculate and really can't stand even a hair out of place.
Garret's eyes are a hazel brown, that change color depending on his clothing. Brighter colors, such as blues and greens, tend to give his eyes more of a green look, while warmer colors,browns, and reds give his eyes more of a brown look. His eyes also lighten when he's happy, and darken when he's angry.
Garret always looks like your average English gentleman. He dresses neatly and with good taste. He doesn't really like to wear leather, although his clothes are always in good taste. The clothes he wears are always comfortable and casual.
Garret has the 'sex appeal' that every guy wants and it certainly doesn't hurt that he has the money to go with the looks.
Heritage: Garret's father, Garret Andric Radolf the Second, comes from England. The Radolf linage descends from a duke during the British War of the Roses. Their money is part of an inheritance, its old money from centuries ago. The Radolf's are basically rich enough not to have to work, especially after many good investments over the years. Garret's mother, Jezebel happens to be a former hooker. Radolf the second, Garret's father, accidentally got her pregnant. Jezebel threatened to tell the world when Radolf said he wouldn't help take care of the child. Therefore to save face in the public, Randolf the first, Garret's grandfather, ordered his son to marry Jezebel. Garret's grandfather also ordered Jezebel and Radolf the second to move to America out of the English public eye. The grandfather continues to keep his son's bank account filled to insure good behavior from the both,as well as to keep his grandson in money.
History: Garret has led a very good life in New York. He has lived there is whole life in an impressive Townhouse. Garret has been raised by nannies and other hired help from the time he was born. His parents hate each other, but Jezebel refuses to allow a divorce simply because she doesn't want to lose the money. The moment that Garret was born, Jezebel refused to have any more children. Garret hardly ever sees his parents, in fact most of the time they are off on some trip or other separately. Garret's grandfather made certain that Garret was put into the most expensive school in New York and he always makes certain that Garret never fails, even if it takes bribing the school to do it.
Garret has led a life full of privileges and he constantly looks down on the people who he deems less privileged. He has been given practically everything he wanted from the time he was born, more often then not just to keep him quiet.
From the time Garret was 5 years old, he knew the horrible family secret. His nanny at the time told him all about it, although his parents fired the lady when they found out. Garret was a talkative child at the time and quickly learned that if he even hinted at this family secret he would be given whatever he wanted. This kind of behavior quickly turned him into a spoiled brat that would not be satisfied unless he had exactly what he wanted.
As time went on and Garret grew older, he began to follow in his father's footsteps. He would spend money on whatever he wanted, even if he knew he would get bored with it. He would also treat the lesser individuals like dirt, especially the people that worked for him.
When Garret began school, he quickly excelled in math and English. However, he has problems with most of his other subjects. When Garret reached the age that girls interested him, he began a life career of figuring out what pleased a girl most. Garret quickly became the ladies man that was capable enough to woo even the toughest of girls.
By the time high school rolled around, Garret had become one of the popular kids. He spends his time either hanging out with his popular friends, writing, or planning parties. Garret generally holds a party ever Friday or Saturday night.
Garret's paternal family have always been strong willed, although he is the first that has exhibited anything like the mental powers he possesses. Garret first found out about his powers when he realized some of the things he was feeling and thinking were coming from the people around him. Since he was 10 years old, he began to do whatever he could to train those powers of his to be useful. He has done all this training himself and can sometimes loose control of his powers.
Personality: Garret is a well mannered guy. He was taught how to behave like the perfect English Gentleman before he even began to talk. After all, his grandfather wanted his grandson to still have the English education his parents had denied him by their actions. He is also an excellent romantic and can generally romance even the girls most resistant to being romanced.
From the time Garret was 15, he had a kind of charm about him that drove the ladies wild. Like his father, Garret tends to go from girl to girl. He never stays with one girl more then a month before he begins to get bored. His favorite picks of bedtime playmates are virginal young innocents. He likes to charm young naive girls, claim them in the most primal way, and then when he gets tired of them, throw them away like yesterday's news. If a girl ever gets too clingy he will definitely get rid of them. Occasionally there have been the odd girl that tried to blackmail him for his money. However, he simply either pays them off or does something that will ruin the girl's reputation so badly that she will never get untainted.
Garret has earned his right to be in the popular crowd because of his good looks, his money, and his ability to throw the best parties. He has a reputation of throwing the best parties in TRPS.
One of Garret's favorite things to do is to influence and tamper with people's minds and emotions. He enjoys doing this because it makes him feel powerful, especially when he does it to someone he deems lesser then he is. This ability combined with his natural charm is what gives him the ability to read what a woman wants correctly so often.
Powers: Garret has the ability of Empathy which allows Garret to know and influence the emotions of those around him. A general reading of the feeling of a group of people is possible, as is a focused reading of one person. Only emotions can be detected, not thoughts. If used on one person who is attempting to hide their feelings, the victim may be able to resist if their willpower is strong enough. Garret can use this power to influence a single person or change the emotional standing of an entire group. Obviously, influencing a group is more difficult.
Garret also has the ability of Telepathy which allows Garret to read the surface thoughts of those around him. Garret can delve deeper into the mind of his victim to find deep-seated or hidden thoughts. This deeper probing takes considerable time and is often noticed by the victim. If Garret wishes, a deep and intrusive probe can be made of an immobilized victim. This "mind rape" can reveal even the most hidden thoughts, but the victim will strongly resist. is no disguising this type of mental attack. Victims may be able to resist all uses of this power if their own willpower is strong enough.
Garret has a strong willpower, which is why he is able to use these powers of his. However, he can easily be thwarted if his victim has a stronger willpower then he does. He also has trouble with any physical type of magic or attacks.
Considering that Garret has pretty much trained himself with these powers, there are times when he looses control. If his feelings are extremely vivid, such as if he was extremely angry, sad, or excited ... others around him tend to start picking up those emotions and displaying them as well.
Interests: Garret is interested in writing and mathematical problems. He also enjoys hosting parties and hanging out with the popular crowd. Garret also enjoys tampering with the minds and emotions of those people he deems beneath him. Garret has joined the creative writing course and he also works on the school paper.
