Character: Sailor Moon
Character Name: Celeste ParvulusMeaning:(if applicable): Heavenly Child
Age: 15
Birthday: June 30
Sign: Cancer
Appearance:
Celeste has golden red hair and although a lot of the women of Rome like to dye their hair that color...including her mother and sisters, Celeste's hair is a natural color. Her hair is naturally long and thick...reaching the floor in soft ringlet curls. She usually wears it down with just two silver pearl clasps at the sides holding it out of her face, but on special occassions she wears it up in a carefully arranged style..complete with her favorite silver pearl clasps. She has a delicate figure of 4'11" and curves in all the right places. Celeste really is a lovely girl, but due to her young age her body hasn't fully matured yet. When she is angry, her eyes tend to turn an icy silver blue...but usually they are a warm bright crystal blue.
Celeste wears the traditional clothes of course, but due to her status they are of the finest quality. She also loves to wear ornate necklaces, pins, earrings, bracelets and friendship rings...most of which are decorated with precious stones and pearls. Her favorite are pearls...which can be seen in her usual pearl clasps and the pearls in her brightly colored sandals. She has a good many parasols, as well as fans...usually made of peacock feathers. She never leaves the house without carrying either one of her parasols or one of her fans.
Personality:Celeste has a bright personality and a love of life. She is very headstrong and tends to expect things to go her way. She is friendly to a fault and will even chatter on about different things to slaves and people of the lower class. She also has a love of being outside and can often be found walking around on her husband's estates just enjoying herself.
Celeste hates fighting and will often do her best to discourage people from going to the gladiator games...even though her father has ordered her many times to stop it. She hardly ever talks to her husband if she can help it, because he is a general and she feels that this just promotes fighting and blood spilling.
Celeste knows that she has a lovely figure and at times can be a bit vain...however despite that she isn't afraid of getting dirty or anything. She has been taught that proper ladies do not dig around in the dirt and so she usually doesn't help the caretakers with the gardens, but every now and then she can't help herself.
She also loves to go to all of the festivals, as well as have as many dinner parties at home as she can. One of her most favorite times of the day, are the ones when she can chat with a friend or just about anyone she meets.
Whenever she is in the public eye...such as at festivals or dinner parties, she does her best to act like a proper wife..knowing that she could get into serious trouble if she didn't. However, all the while she is despising her husband in every way that she can.
Dreams/Goals:Celeste doesn't really have any longterm goals. She spends her days living life to the fullest and is almost happy with her life. She does always strive to be nice to anyone she meets...including the slaves. She hates to see people hurt and longs for a time that people were at peace. Her station in life makes it impossible for her to really let loose and do things the way she wants, because even though she is the emperor's daughter and can get away with a lot of things...she has to be careful to make sure she doesn't displease her father in anyway.
History:Celeste was the youngest child of the emperor and has 4 brothers and 6 sisters...the youngest of which is 5 years older then her. She was born in her father's palace...in her mother's chambers, as were all of her brothers and sisters. The finest midwife attended her birth..she had an easy birth and didn't suffer through any complications. She was born on a fine summer day and was soon the delight of everyone that met her. She grew up in the capital city and enjoyed every bit of her life.
On her 10th birthday, Celeste was taken to one of the gladiator games and instantly hated it. She really did hate to see people hurt and hated fighting even worse. Use to getting her own way, she begged her father to ban the games, but her father refused...and ordered her to leave things alone. She continued to hate the games...as well as any fights she saw, however because her father punished her everytime she spoke of it she soon decided to do her best to forget about it.Her father also dislikes to see her being nice to the slaves and people of lower class...but no matter how many times he lectures her about the proper way ladies of her station acts, she simply goes right back to talking to anyone she meets.
On her 12th birthday Celeste was introduced to a high general of the army. She hated the man from the very first moment she saw him, viewing him as someone that helped to promote the fighting she hated. In her secret heart she did admit the man was handsome...but she refused to like him due to his job. She also didn't like his attitude, believing him to be stuffy and heartless...as well as unpolite. From that time on, no matter how many times she tried to avoid the general it seemed he was right there. It soon came to her attention that her father planned on marrying her to this stuffy, inconsiderate man that she hated.
Once again she begged him to reconsider, however her father was set on the marriage because he knew that the general was wealthy and would add even more power to their bloodline. He also knew that the young man would be able to control his headstrong daughter and not let her cause to much embarrassment to her family. No matter how many times Celeste begged her parents...her father wouldn't see things her way and soon she was married to the man against her wishes.
Where are they now?:Celeste lives on her husband's estates in the capital city of Rome...and although she hates him, she adores his gardens and grounds. She loves to walk through the gardens and admire the flowers and other plant life. Her love of life keep her from being miserable and she spends most of her time visiting friends, admiring the gardens and grounds, shopping at the market place, and just spending time out in the sunshine.

Celeste's favorite thing to do at night is gaze at the stars and the moon..especially at the moon. From the time, she was a child she has always gazed at the moon whenever she was feeling sad or lonely...feeling as if the silver orb comforted her for some unknown reason...almost like coming home. She could never understand that...but if she had been allowed to do so she would have tried to become a astronomer, however due to the fact that she was a girl she was never allowed to do this. She still spends a good portion of her evenings gazing up at the night filled sky...especially when she gets too lonely or frustrated with her life.

Celeste despises her husband and constantly wishes that she didn't have to live with him. She has often thought about divorce, even though this was just not usually done in this times...but she never even speaks of it because she knows that her father would be extremely angry at her. Celeste puts up with her husband's wishes....no matter what he wants her to do, she will follow his orders unless of course it would be doing something morally or lawfully wrong. She does this even though she hates him, because she hates to displease her father. However, dispite her hatred for the man...she can't quite get over the fact that she is very attracted to him as well as a little proud to have him for her husband due to his attractivness and his many succusses.
Child:
Name: Marcus Communis
Age: 2 years old
Looks: His hair is very dark, almost black, and his eyes are a crystal blue.
Personality: Marcus is a very spoiled young boy and tends to whine if he doesn't get his way. He adores his father very much and does everything that he can to be just like him..even at his young age.
Parents Relationship: Victor and Celeste both love this little boy very much. To Victor, Marcus is the strapping young boy he's always wanted. To Celeste, he's her son and she'd do anything for him. Celeste tries her best to get Marcus to not follow in his father's footsteps...trying to teach him that fighting isn't good (although she will only try this when Victor isn't around), however, it never does any good because just like Victor worshiped his father...Marcus worships everything that Victor does. The only thing that Celeste has managed to do thus far is to make sure that Marcus is no where near his father when Victor is in one of his intoxicated moods, because she's never sure that he won't get angry at the little boy and do something he would regret. She does know that Victor adores the child..and for this she is very grateful.
Writing Sample:
--I am using Luna in this writing sample...because obviously there is no one posted up yet hehe...and I don't think Luna will be changed to awfully much...--
Celeste gazed at the beast in front of her, a terrible fright bubbling up in her chest. She couldn't believe that a small, talking, black cat had convinced her to try and defeat this hideous creature. After all, what was she suppose to do...she was only a girl...fighting was to be left to the soldiers like her husband.
Celeste glanced back at the cat for a second, almost pleading with her...but the cat only motioned with her paw for her to do something. She turned back to the creature in front of her and muttered sarcastically, "For once in my life...I wish my darling husband were here with me so that he could take care of this thing. I hate fighting and getting myself killed is not my idea of a fun afternoon."
Suddenly the creature lunged at her..trying to dig his claws deep into her side. Celeste dodged out of the way and cried, "Um...kitty, what exactly am I suppose to be doing here. I don't want to bother you or anything, but...I don't want to die. I still have too much to live for!"
The black cat sighed and called out, "Use your tiara Sailor Moon...honestly I believe I have already told you that before. Just take it off your head, shout 'Silver Moon Tiara Action' and let it loose...and don't forget to aim it at the creature please. I just located you...I don't intend to lose you so soon."
Celeste grumbled under her breath about cats that weren't even suppose to know how to talk. However, she did as she was told and quickly through the glowing silver tiara at the creature...catching it in the side. The tiara left a burning slash down the creature's side..leaving the gruesome beast screaming in pain before it finally crumbled to dust.
Celeste wrinkled her nose at the site before her and then turned back to the cat. She glared at her for a moment and said, "Kitty...um..I believe you said your name was Luna...well that was a horrid thing to put me through. I hate fighting, I'm always trying to get people to settle their differences in other ways....I never intended to fight something myself. I do hope you don't expect me to do that again...after all, I would much rather be walking in the gardens...or talking to my friends. I did enjoy meeting you, after all its not every day that someone gets to meet a talking cat...but I do hope you understand that I can't accept this um...brooch if its going to mean having to fight horrible things like that again."
Luna sighed as she listened to the girl ramble on. She couldn't believe that after searching for a long time and then finally finding the girl she was looking for....she turned out to be this girl. She finally interrupted the girl and said, "Celeste...as I explained earlier, you have no choice. You are Sailor Moon and you must defeat the evil that is planning to take over Rome, if you do not...well then all is lost. Every innocent person of Rome will be in danger. Don't worry...it will not be long before you are joined by a few partners...but until we find them, you must take up the job yourself. Do you understand?"
Celeste stared at the cat for a moment, before sighing sadly and nodding her head. She then whispered, "I understand Luna...but, I don't like it..."
