Character: Warrior Fire
Character Name: Vincent Venustas
Meaning: Conquering Beauty
Birthday: March 21
Sign: Aries
Appearance:
Vincent resembles his sister very greatly. He has dark hair that is cut short in the normal style for most upper class men. His skin is the same olive tone as his sister, he usually tans very well in the summer. Unlike his sister, Vincent is rather tall.....6'2". He has a well muscled frame, although not overly so. His eyes are the same dark green color as his sister's eyes. He has no beard, preferring the close-shaven look.
Vincent's wardrobe was the usual wardrobe of an upperclass man, a knee-length tunic, either sleeveless or short-sleeved. His tunic is usually white with a broad purple band at the bottom...showing that he is a member of the senate. He also wears a toga over his tunic, which was like a wide shawl that was draped over his shoulder and carefully wrapped around his body.
Vincent usually wore a dark purple cloak at night and during winter for warmth, and as protection against rain and wind. The only piece of jewelry that he wears is a gold ring set with a fiery red ruby that his mother gave him when he was 8 years old...shortly afterwards she died, ever since then Vincent never takes it off except for special circumstances.
Personality:
Vincent, like his sister, feels that education is very important. Whenever he has nothing to do, Vincent can often be found with a book...he also likes to debate with his sister over different subjects such as the morality and necessity of Roman laws.
Like his father, Claudius Venustas...a famous senator, he often encouraged his little sister to read anything and everything she could get her hands on. He also tends to bring her any books that she desires..including the ones that she wouldn't have ordinarily been able to get.
Vincent was very close to his little sister, perhaps the only one of the family that was. He shares a natural curiosity towards learning and love of reading with his sister. He also has a great interest in law and the senate.
Unlike his sister, Vincent is not as outspoken, he usually thinks about what he is going to say before he says it. However, he is just as fiercely independent and likes to do things his own way.
Vincent looks down on the lower class...especially the slaves. He doesn't accept any mistakes from a servant, including his own and can often be extremely cruel with them. He never allows a task to remain uncompleted..especially his own and will do whatever it takes to get it done.
Vincent also has the usual Roman need for violence. He hardly ever misses the gladiator matches, he enjoys watching the slaves fight for their lives. He also adored the fact that his father kidnapped his most beautiful, lovely and exotic wife, Dori.
Dreams/Goals:
Vincent dreams of becoming a famous senator like his father. He knows that he is a member of the senate, but he is no where near as popular or famous as his father. He also wishes that his sister was able to practice law like she has always wanted to be able to do, although he knows this will never come to pass. Therefore, he always takes care to make her happy by bringing her books and discussing things her husband wouldn't discuss with her. At times, he also asks for her opinion on different subjects.
History:
Vincent was born in his father's expansive house on the outskirts of the city and grew up in the lap of luxury . He is the first of four children, therefore he was the one most expected to follow in his father's footsteps. His mother passed away during the birth of his youngest brother, at which time he was 8 years old.
By the time Vincent was 10 years old, he began going with his father whenever he went out of town on business so that he could learn everything that went on. He, like the rest of his brothers, spent his time studying law and horseback riding. However, unlike his younger brothers..he always made time for his little sister....making no effort to not spoil her.
He would share his law books with her, as well as get her any books she wanted. He also shared all of his lessons with her so that, although she couldn't really practice law...she would be able to understand everything that went on.
At the age of 18, Vincent told his father that he was ready to get married. He also told his father that the local women were not worthy of him. His father agreed and led an expedition to kidnap his son a wife that was worthy of him.
One month later, Claudius brought back a young girl with long, luxurious light brown hair that was highlighted by strikingly red strands and salient dark blue eyes. The moment Vincent saw her, he knew that she was the perfect wife for him.
Where are they now?:
Vincent is currently living in an expansive house on the outskirts of the city, much like the house he grew up in, with his wife Dori. On the grounds of their house there is a stable stocked with fine horses, which include many that he lets his wife and her friends ride if they wish...although he never lets anyone touch his finest stallion...a high strung creature, except for his sister because he knows not many people could handle it without getting hurt. He also has a grand library of different types of books...including some of the finest history and law books that have been written of which he lets his sister and his wife read to their hearts desire.

Writing Sample:
Vincent stared at the cat angrily, how dare this small white furball tell him that he should fight. Fighting was for slaves to do...not a member of the senete like him.
Vincent glared at the cat for a moment longer and then growled, "It is very daring for you to even approach me like this kitty cat...after all I could have you destroyed for even being able to talk. I will overlook that for now simply because you belong to my sister. However, if you even think about insulting me again by saying I should fight...I will have you thrown to the wolves!"
Vincent started to walk away, but Artemis called out to him, "Aurelia has been fighting for a few weeks now...and so has Dori, they could both use your help."
Vincent turned around to glare at the cat and snarled, "How dare you even think such insulting thoughts! Dori and Aurelia might both be outspoken...but they would never lower themselves so much as to fight like a dirty slave."
Artemis calmly listened to Vincent as he vented his rage. However, the moment that he could get a word in edge wise he said, "I understand that you are upset...Aurelia and Dori were both upset as well. However, they really are fighting the forces that are trying to take over Rome. I suggest that if you wish for them to remain alive...you go and help them. All you have to do is think about becoming the Warrior Fire and your ring will take over from there. Just give it a try..."
Vincent glanced at his ring for a moment, trying to decide if the cat was telling the truth. He suddenly shook his head and growled, "You lie cat...it isn't possible, none of it is!"
Artemis sighed sadly and then leaped to a window. He quickly pointed outside with his paw and said, "Do you see that group of girls fighting that beast out there?"
He waited for Vincent to nod before saying, "Aurelia and Dori are out there...just watch for a moment. They are wearing disguises, but if you look closely at them you will see the resemblance...especially now that you are being let in on the secret."
Vincent stared at the group of girls for a long moment, his gaze finally shifting to two of them in particular. After a few moments, he finally whispered, "They are out there...if they are fighting I can do no less..."
He closed his eyes and thought about becoming the warrior that the cat had mentioned...moments later a flash of fire surrounded him before leaving him standing there in the armor of the Warrior Fire.
Warrior Fire glanced down at himself in mild curiosity before turning his gaze back toward the beast. He watched it attack both his wife and his sister..throwing them to the ground.
He then growled softly, "He won't get away with treating them like that..."
